The burden of tackling an international health crisis, impacting the global population, has affected one group of people the most and that is the world's healthcare workers. Video and audio recordings has shown how they are obliged to work in healthcare environments contaminated with death, illness, and disease, with resources that are often strained for use on patients battling COVID-19, all the while sacrificing their personal health with limited protections. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us that there is no health without the presence of healthcare workers. The disease has exposed healthcare workers and their families to various unparalleled levels of risk, which has resulted in data showing that COVID-19 infections are more dominant and receptive amongst healthcare workers, than affecting the general population. While the role of healthcare workers, in this pandemic, is crucial on the fight in ensuring minimal suffrage and saving lives, they also happen to be humans, who happen to face challenges and complications that are often exhaustive, especially to their mental and physical well-being. Video and audio recordings have given documentations of just how the pandemic has obliterated the functionality of healthcare workers beyond the brink, and continues to do so as COVID-19 worsens around the world. Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers have expressed stress and anxiety while working gruelling hours on the frontlines, having expressed concerns over multiple limitations and restrictions that have caused great challenges in providing care to those that are ill, while at the same time relieving fear amongst people and families.
